WHO WE ARE

Athletes Kitchen wasn’t built by a marketing team.
It was built by people who care deeply about food, training, and doing things properly.
Everyone here plays a role.
Everyone holds the same standard.

  • Danny Carr — Founder

Danny is a former professional boxer who retired undefeated.
While chasing his boxing career, he was also working a full-time job in the City. Training hard, making weight, and trying to live
properly alongside that reality made one thing painfully clear: good food was the hardest part to get right consistently.
Every day felt like a compromise. Either eat something boring and joyless just to hit macros, or enjoy food and feel like you were
working against your goals. Pret salads became the default “safe option” — and that never sat right.
  • Danny Carr — Founder

Danny built Athletes Kitchen out of that frustration, because he was tired of seeing people try to improve their life while being let down by their food.
He knows what it’s like to train seriously, to care about performance, and to want your lifestyle to support that effort — not fight against it.
His role is to set the standard, protect the brand, and make sure Athletes Kitchen always does right by the people who rely on it.
Lead from the front. No compromise.

  • Rob Young - Head Chef

Rob brings over 16 years of professional cheffing experience to Athletes Kitchen.
He previously ran a restaurant with Danny and is known for his meticulous approach to food — from sourcing ingredients and developing recipes through to preparation and consistency.
Rob places huge importance on using the best produce available,
treating ingredients with care, and cooking food properly from scratch.
  • Rob Young - Head Chef

For Rob, food people can trust starts with quality ingredients, careful preparation, and recipes that actually taste good — not shortcuts designed for scale or shelf life.
He brings high-level technical skill to the kitchen, but more importantly, he believes meals should be enjoyed regularly, not endured.
His responsibility is simple: to make food that’s prepared with care, built on good ingredients, and reliable week after week.

A team, not a brand

Everyone behind Athletes Kitchen shares the same belief:
If it cheapens the brand or compromises the customer, we don’t do it.

We’re here to support people who are trying, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Athletes Kitchen is a complete package.
Chef. Nutritionist. Athlete.
Built around people, not production lines.
